News: Stealing from a designer

This is a huge no-no in my book. I am surprised and very disappointed to read this morning in the Modish blog that Unique-vintage.com has stolen a dress directly from Trashy Diva. Trashy Diva has worked very hard for a long time to design the “Trixie” dress and one of their own wholesale accounts took this dress to a manufacturer and have them reproduced in different colors.

As I have created a site to help the indie designer, I know the hard work and pride that goes into each piece that is designed. As stated on Trashy Diva’s blog (read it all here):

You can express any concerns about these copies by email directly to the company at: Katie@unique-vintage.com or by phone at 1-800-721-6589. (These details are publically listed on their website)
